Week 13 Muddy Point

My muddy point after this weeks readings.  How can our privacy rights just be given away so easily?  How can the collection, analyzing and selling of personal information NOT be a violation of our civil rights?  When did it become so "right" to know the intimate details of our lives without our knowledge?  Who decided that our every move should be known and followed?
